I Need To Have A New Furnace Put Into My House. What Should I Expect To Pay And Where Do I Start?

My brother bought the furnace in this house for my dad about 10 yrs ago and installed it. He purchased it from an auction along with 3 just like it. He owns a lot of real estate, so he does stuff like this all of the time. I have replaced the surface ignitor in this furnace about 7 or 8 times. Earlier this winter, I hired a plumber to come re vent it out the new roof I just had put on because it wasnt vented right and was carbon monoxide poisoning me. I put carbon monoxide detectors in the kitchen and hallway. The latest problem is the blower does not come on and I can smell a hot burning smell come up out of the vents in the living room. I can hear the furnace come on, then within a minute, I can hear the fire come into the furnace, then the blower motor takes forever to come on and when it finally does, I can smell a hot smell coming out of the vents. My brother told me to go into the basement and see if the fire was going into the tubes and it was. He thought there might be a leak. He asked me if the fire was blue and it was with a few yellow spots. I just need to get rid of this furnace before it kills me. Do you know anything or where to start?

Can You Be Sued By The Person Who Bought Your House At Auction?

Our house went into foreclosure and then sold at sherriff’s auction late last year. It sold for a bit more then we owed the banks. We expected to pay off everyone, then receive that money from the sale of the house, and start a new. The house was bought by a real estate investor. A few days after the house sold, we were informed that this real estate investor is suing us because he did not like the condition of the house, claiming that we intentionally vandalized the house. He is suing us for the exact amount that is owed to us after the house sold to repair damages. We did no such thing, we were forced to move in a very short time with no moving company to help. Has anyone been sued like this before?
We feel we have already lost everything.

We Won A No Reserve Auction On Ebay For A House, We Emailed The Seller But Didn’t Get A Reply, What To Do?

I know ebay says real estate auctions are non-binding on the buyer (us) but it doesn’t say anything about the seller? I guess they are obliged to sell it to you if you have won the auction? We’re pretty sure the seller didn’t expect to get so low a price but that’s how auctions work! (If you want a certain price put a reserve on it!)
So, probably contact ebay if we don’t hear from the seller? Oh, and leave negative feedback thereby ending the sellers 100% positive feedback? Thanks.

Real Estate Question – Are People Much More Motivated To Sell Their House Pre-foreclosure..?

meaning with delinquent mortgage, compared to having the bank sell it as part of the foreclosure process itself? I’m referring to the period of time the bank gives the owner to sell their house prior to foreclosrue/public auction? what is the owner’s main motivation here to sell it pre-foreclosure? is it their Credit Report not showing foreclosure and that’s it? or is there another reason for the property owner to sell it pre-foreclosure compared to it being sold on foreclosure or, lastly, do you think in reality those property owners are not that more motivated to sell it pre-foreclosure compared to foreclosure once they have issues with the bank??? How Do I Make An Offer To An Auction Company On A House In A Bankruptcy Sale?

I’d like to make an offer on a house being auctioned by an auction house. There is a bankruptcy invovled. However, I just saw the exact same house listed with a real estate agent, and can’t understand how this is possible. Anyone with any experience buying real estate through auction houses?

Is A Real Estate Agent Guaranteed Commission On A House That Is A Pre-sale Auction?

We put an offer on a house that ended up being sent to auction the same day. So, our contract reads as a “Pre-Sale Auction” now. We are technically buying the house from the bank before it goes to auction (it was set to this weekend). My question is, because of this situation, for some odd reason we need to add the real estate agents commission onto our loan. Which is an additional $4,875.
My question is, are we obligated to do this? Is there another way to negotiate the bank paying her commission? And what is the standard percentage rate for a real estate agent to make off the sale of a home?

my mom wants to buy a house, i’ve found some that were in foreclosure, but they said she would have to bid on the house and the highest bidder wins, we can’t afford that we have a limit,so would dealing with a real estate agent be better? need some advice.
