Are we at the bottom of the market or will it fall more next year? I have some money offshore and would like to buy real estate before the economy goes into another growth cycle, Im seeing a lot of foreclosure auctions, the time has to be close.

there is no crystal ball on that one,
I don’t think that we are at bottom, but i don’t think that things will go down much more.
I think that properties in many areas are 15-35% overpriced as it is right now, but don’t expect them to go down that much.

Homebuilders or real property…wait a while, but ” commercial” REIT’s may be starting back UP soon.

Most predictions that I’ve seen are for prices to decline for at least another six months and possibly into 2009. If those are right, then you can probably get a better deal by waiting awhile longer.
